Mingo's candidate forum

Participated in the Mingo's candidate forum and pot luck in Papaikou yesterday. The four candidates for District 1, County Council, spoke. Thank you to the Mingos and all who came to hear the candidates.  A "getting to know you" forum like that is so much better than a yard sign. The people there were interesting and interested in knowing about the qualifications of the candidates, and getting to know the candidate up close and personal.  I met many people who knew me by name and it was good to connect the name to a person.  Let's see if we can get more of these forums going.  It was fun!
