Yes, Jo is Running for Office

yes! i've thrown my hat into the ring!  i'm so excited to be running for district 1, Hawaiʻi County Council.

Your support means so much to me, and I thank you for championing my candidacy.  

To get the word out to as many voters as possible i need to raise funds.  Can you support my candidacy?

I am sure you want to know why I am not taking public funds.  Actually no candidate for district 1 is going for public financing because public financing for this district is based on the money spent in the last election - and for the primary the public funds are $1,200 and for the general $400, not enough to run a campaign.
